TEPM, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you access or use our web-based applications, including our Personal Finance Application and our Business/Project Management Application (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms herein, please discontinue use of our Services immediately.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
We collect information you voluntarily provide when you:
- Create an account (name, email address, password, billing information)
- Use the Personal Finance Application (financial account data, transaction records, budget inputs, financial goals)
- Use the Business/Project Management Application (project data, task information, team member details, business notes)
- Contact our support team or communicate with us
- Complete surveys, respond to promotions, or provide feedback
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use our Services, we automatically collect certain technical information, including:
- Log data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and timestamps
- Device information: hardware model, unique device identifiers, and mobile network data
- Usage data: features accessed, actions taken, frequency of use, and performance metrics

2.3 Financial Data (Personal Finance Application)
If you connect external financial accounts or manually enter financial data, we may collect: bank account details, credit/debit card information, investment account data, income and expense records, credit scores (if applicable), and other financial information you choose to input. This data is used solely to provide the Personal Finance Application features and is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

4.3 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.
4.4 No Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes. Period.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our Services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@tepm-llc.com. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Anonymized or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction. These include, but are not limited to:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL)
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access to your account.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience, understand usage patterns, and deliver relevant content. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our Services.
Global Privacy Control (GPC):We honor GPC browser signals as an opt-out of data sharing with third-party analytics providers. If your browser transmits a GPC signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal data. We do not respond to generic browser "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals, but we will update this policy if our practices change.

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
11. Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) — Financial Data
To the extent TEPM, LLC is considered a “financial institution” under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (15 U.S.C. § 6801 et seq.), we are committed to the following protections for your financial data:
- Privacy Notice: This Privacy Policy constitutes our notice of data collection and sharing practices. We do not share your financial information with non-affiliated third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
- Safeguards Rule: We maintain a written information security program that includes administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the size, complexity, and sensitivity of the financial data we hold, consistent with 16 C.F.R. Part 314.
- Sensitive Financial Data: Income records, investment balances, budget data, retirement projections, and account type information you enter into the Personal Finance Application are treated as sensitive financial data. This data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, and is accessible only to authenticated users and authorized system processes.
- Vendor Oversight: Third-party service providers (including Clerk for authentication, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, and Vercel for hosting) are subject to contractual data-protection obligations and are permitted to use your data only to perform services on our behalf.
Explicit Consent for Financial Data Processing:By creating an account and using the Personal Finance Application, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of the financial data you enter solely for the purpose of providing the application’s features. You may withdraw this consent at any time by deleting your account (see Section 8).
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated effective date, and by sending an email notification to the address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
14. Texas Residents — Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA)
If you are a resident of Texas, you have additional rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), effective July 1, 2024. These rights include:
- Right to Know: Confirm whether we are processing your personal data and access a copy of it
- Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccuracies in your personal data
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal data you provided to us or that we obtained about you
- Right to Portability: Receive your personal data in a portable, readily usable format to transfer to another controller
- Right to Opt Out: Opt out of the processing of your personal data for purposes of:
- Targeted advertising
- Sale of personal data
- Profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you
How to exercise your rights: Submit a written request to support@tepm-llc.com. We will respond within 45 days of receiving a verified request. We may extend this period by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary and will notify you of any extension. We do not sell personal data or process it for targeted advertising.
Appeals: If we deny your request, you may appeal by contacting us at the same address with the subject line "TDPSA Appeal." If your appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to the Texas Attorney General at www.texasattorneygeneral.gov.
